Sui Unveils SuiHub Taipei to Fuel Innovation at the Heart of Asia’s Tech Ecosystem
Taipei becomes the latest city to join Sui’s expanding global network of community-led hubs.

Sui, the only blockchain built for mass adoption, today unveiled SuiHub Taipei, a dedicated space designed to foster collaboration across Asia’s vibrant blockchain and hardware innovation ecosystems. As the fifth physical location in Sui’s rapidly expanding global network, following Dubai, Ho Chi Minh City, Athens, and Lagos, SuiHub Taipei underscores the Sui Foundation’s commitment to supporting visionary builders and forward-thinking communities worldwide with the in-person resources they need to thrive.
Taipei is a world-leading hardware powerhouse and is home to one of Asia’s most active developer communities with a deep and innovative talent pool and a strong entrepreneurial culture. Taipei’s proximity to key markets in East and Southeast Asia, a critical region for the future of Web3, makes it a crucial strategic node for blockchain adoption worldwide.
Tapping into Taipei’s ecosystem and talent
The Hub is envisioned as a creative and technical sandbox for developers exploring the frontier of digital ownership, gaming, and blockchain-based user experiences. With the upcoming launch of the SuiPlay0X1, the world’s first blockchain-enabled handheld gaming console, the newest SuiHub will capitalize on Taipei’s world-renowned hardware industry to focus on advancing crypto-native gaming.
“Taipei represents a unique convergence of technical talent, forward-looking consumers, and digitally native enterprises,” said Christian Thompson, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation. “Beyond the physical space, SuiHub Taipei will be a strategic launchpad for the ideas, products, and partnerships that will shape the next chapter of blockchain innovation across Asia — and will be built on Sui.”
Building local communities with global impact
SuiHub Taipei will host a year-round calendar of community-driven initiatives from developer meetups, workshops, hackathons, and blockchain forums to cultivate the local builder ecosystem. With Taipei playing an increasingly active role in regional blockchain innovation, the hub will also serve as a platform to connect stakeholders across East and Southeast Asia.
This launch is part of a broader Sui Foundation initiative to nurture on-the-ground communities in the world’s most innovation-driven markets. At each SuiHub, developers are given the tools and resources needed to leverage Sui’s intuitive programming model and primitives like Move, zkLogin, and Walrus, allowing anyone with a bold idea to start building.
Stay tuned for upcoming events at SuiHub Taipei and join the community redefining what's possible at the intersection of blockchain, gaming, and digital culture.
