Sui Games Coming Soon and Launching Now
New games set to launch on Sui through the next year showcase breakthroughs for Web3 gaming.

Web3 gaming is about to have its breakthrough moment due to Sui's high performance and scalability, finally delivering on the promise of item ownership and a much-needed reset for the gaming industry. Ever since Sui's Mainnet launch, visionary game developers have been building their storylines, graphics, and physics, and we're going to reach critical mass as new games go online.
Already, Ambrus Studio launched its mobile multiplayer online battle arena E4C: Final Salvation, letting players battle in exciting new environments and acquiring NFT-based skins. Arcade-style games BIRDs made a big splash as well, entertaining many thousands of players every day. Gamisodes, another innovative app, is also online, creating new engagement in entertainment.
New games launching on Sui over the next months promise even more excitement and innovative uses of Web3's unique capabilities. Here are just a few games readying for launch:
First quarter launches
Social casino Pebble City offers an endless array of slot machines featuring classic and new themes. The multiple casinos in Pebble City differentiate themselves through a new concept called "Community Games", encouraging social play.
Experience the furious action of MMA fighting. This mobile Sui game includes 20 athletes and world champions from the official ONE Championship league. Players employ deep strategy and level up their fighters in bouts shown with realistic graphics.
The Samurai Shodown saga gets a new chapter with the latest version launching on Sui and the SuiPlay0X1 mobile gaming device. Samurai Shodown R takes the franchise into the Web3 era, leveraging Sui's dynamic and ownable assets to give players a greatly enhanced experience.
Take a break from real world stress in Lucky Kat's casual farming game. Cosmocadia includes delightful NFT-based avatars that farm and improve their land. Players can harvest crops, sell them, and buy better equipment, seeds, and aesthetic improvements for their farms. Lucky Kat promises a soft launch for Cosmocadia in the first quarter, followed by a full launch in the second quarter.
In genre-defying game Warped Universe, players select from third person real-time action or turn-based strategy for each mission. The game supports solo and team play, as well as base building, catering to every type of player preference. Warped Universe is slated for a soft launch in the first quarter, and full public launch in the third quarter.
Second quarter launches
XOCIETY, a new pop shooter with RPG elements, features PvP and PvE action. With rich environments supported by Unreal Engine 5, players will find NFT-based items and accessories they can use in-game or trade in XOCIETY's marketplaces. The game plans a soft launch with an open beta in the second quarter.
Licensed from Sega, which owns the Code of Joker franchise, developer Parasol will produce a new installment, placing the card battler on Sui. In its first blockchain incarnation, Code of Joker: Evolutions will rely on Sui NFT technology and its lightning quick transaction times to deliver a new era of gameplay.
Third quarter launches
This game developer announced it is working on an action-oriented third person strategic shooter where players can swap between control of different squads, using their specific capabilities to achieve objectives. M10 sees the promise of Sui as a game-changing platform for making Web3 games accessible to traditional players.
According to developer Gumi, this addition to the Brave Frontier games takes the series into the realm of card games, with an intuitive battle system and accessible play. Gumi is very interested in exploring the capabilities of blockchain technology, and a card-based game, using NFTs on Sui, makes a very clear use case.
The self-described social gaming platform Super-B intends to launch with 12 mini games, with more to come, letting players explore different challenges. Player avatars consist of toy-like characters which navigate through and battle in brick-built environments. The game developers plan an open beta in the third quarter.
Super-B offers exciting gameplay in a rich, welcoming environment.
A fun-filled onchain future
Games are just one domain set to explode on Sui, driven by new capabilities in asset ownership offered by Web3 technology. Game developers are introducing unique models for in-game economies, adding a new dimension for players. Past Web3 games suffered from blockchains that felt unnatural and didn't meet player expectations. Sui's ability to support hundreds of thousands of sub-second transactions at scale and innovations like sponsored transactions promise a seamless transition from games of the past to a new, onchain environment where games can flourish.
The games above represent an entirely new paradigm in gaming. Many of these games may also launch on SuiPlay0X1, the new handheld gaming device set to launch later this year. Game release dates are up to the developers, of course, and the above timeline is approximate.
