XOCIETY, the POP shooter game built in partnership between NDUS Interactive and Sui, today announced its launch into Early Access, available for download now on PC and on the SuiPlay0X1 through the Epic Games Store.

XOCIETY launches as one of the most highly anticipated shooter games built on Sui, previously ranking as the top demo title on Epic Games earlier this year and receiving strategic backing from leading investors and gaming industry players, including Spartan, Neoclassic, Big Brain Holdings, and KRAFTON, the publisher behind PUBG.

Set in a deep Sci-Fi world, XOCIETY offers a gaming experience that puts players in control of in-game economics as key decision-makers within the game’s universe. Leveraging its revolutionary XOCIETY Corporate Share (XCS) system, players are put in control of key aspects of the game’s mechanics, including competitive tournaments and rewards distributions, with the system designed to expand over time, giving them unparalleled agency over the game’s evolution and how it is played.

Over 36,000 active wallets participated through XOCIETY’s development and testing phase, recording over 15 million onchain transactions to date. The game also boasts a 14 Day retention rating at 48%, outperforming most Web2-based shooter games.

XOCIETY’s technical integrations

At launch, XOCIETY will also come out of the box with support for the SuiPlay0X1, the dedicated handheld console for blockchain gaming titles built by Mysten Labs in partnership with gaming OS Playtron.

The game also leverages other aspects of the Sui stack to provide a seamless gaming experience for users, including:

  • Storage of tournament results and replays verifiably onchain through Walrus, the decentralized data layer.
  • User authentication through the Slush wallet with zkLogin, ensuring direct connection for in-game items and NFTs.
  • Dynamic and composable NFTs built on Sui’s MOVE smart contracts.
